Steve Avrus
Steve Avrus is co-owner and president Avrus Financial & Mortgage Services, Inc. His 38 years of experience in the financial industry has solidly anchored Avrus Financial as a trusted and professional corporation in today’s mortgage lending market.
Steve started his career in the finance and mortgage industry as a loan manager for a finance company in 1975. While working full time, getting married and starting a family, Steve studied and received his B.S. in accounting from F.I.U. in Miami in 1987, as well as his Florida Mortgage Broker license; he started serving residential mortgage clients in various financial arenas. While working for the many mortgage outlets Steve realized he could not serve his customers to the high standard he himself would like. Thus in 1982 he pushed out on his own and started Avrus Financial & Mortgage Services, Inc. and now for over three decades Steve has applied his expertise and vast knowledge through “boots on the ground” experience. While many recent changes and regulations has caused many companies to close their doors, Steve’s expertise, knowledge, integrity and experience have allowed Avrus Financial to remain strong and viable and his commitment to customer service keeps clients coming back and to feel confident in referring their friends, family, and colleagues to Avrus Financial & Mortgage.

Marietta Avrus
Marietta Avrus is co-owner and corporate secretary of Avrus Financial & Mortgage Services. She provides the nuts and bolts of making the company run smoothly and presides over the front desk of the main office where she acts as office manager, compliance assistant, customer service, and assisting in the day-to-day processing of mortgage loan applications.

Devon Born
Devon G. Born is a mortgage loan processor with a long history in the banking and financial industry in Florida. He holds a degree in business administration and has held a number of positions in major banks, concentrating in commercial lending. He managed and increased large mortgage loan portfolios and continues to offer that same level of expertise and attention here at Avrus. Devon’s experience also as a licensed real estate broker also assures his expertise in all stages of real estate transactions.
